How ConferenceAlert.org collects, uses and protects your information.

Visitors

You can browse the site without an account. Our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and to keep the site running. We use a session cookie to keep organizers signed in.

Organizer accounts

When you create an account we store your name, organization, email address and an encoded password. We use them to run your account, to review your events and to email you about them. We do not sell your data.

Event details

Event details you submit, including the contact email you enter for the event, are published on the event page.

Services we use

  • Google reCAPTCHA, to stop automated sign-ups. Google's privacy policy applies to it.
  • Google Sign-In, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Google Fonts and Unsplash images, loaded by your browser.

Your choices

You can change your profile in the dashboard. To delete your account, write to info@conferencealert.org.
